Privacy notice
The desk’s privacy notice describes what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights under Indian data-protection law.

What we collect
fantasyakhada is an editorial information service. The data we collect falls into three categories: data you give us when you write to the desk, data the browser shares automatically when you load a page, and data the desk generates when it files a route.
- Identifiers — name, email address, postal address (when you write to the customer-care desk).
- Technical — browser type, device type, IP address, page-URL referrer (via standard server logs).
- Editorial — the corrections and feedback you send us, retained for the desk’s working notes.
Why we collect it
We collect data for three purposes only: to reply to your message, to keep the site running, and to maintain the desk’s editorial record. We do not sell data, we do not share data with advertisers, and we do not build profiles of readers.
- To reply — your name, email, and the message text are used to compose a single reply.
- To keep the site running — technical data is used to diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain uptime.
- Editorial record — corrections and feedback are stored with the route they apply to, so future editions do not repeat the same mistake.
Cookies and similar technologies
The desk does not use third-party advertising cookies. We use one functional cookie to remember your topic filter on the captain-points data poster; this cookie expires when you close the browser. We also serve static fonts and images from third-party origins (Google Fonts and the on-site assets directory); these origins may log standard request data.
How long we keep it
Customer-care messages are kept for 24 months, then archived. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Editorial corrections are kept with the route for the life of the publication. You can ask for earlier deletion at [email protected].
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] with the subject line “Data request”. We reply within 30 days of identity verification.
Data breaches
If a data breach affects your personal data, we notify the Data Protection Board of India and the affected readers within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in line with the Act.
